That’s nearly a wrap for the peak season of 2024 , we can then all settle in for a festive season and a rest over the coming days and look back and be happy we made it!, as a lot didn’t !
The buzz phrase has been…. “survive to 25” well that’s just around the corner now……. thankfully.
It’s been a challenging year and with the support of you all we’ve come through it, albeit bruised and battered but we are just pleased to have come out the other side, a lot wiser too, I think!

People ask me almost every day the following questions as they think our industry is a good barometer of the economy.

(Q) “ how’s it going ?”
(Q) “are you busy?”

and I reply ……
(A) “It’s been a tough year but when the OCR cuts started to happen it picked up” and its continuing to do so. Then I rattle on about the reserve bank over stating or over creating this recession…don’t get me started……

BUT I am confident that 2025 will be a far better year and we all need to prepare for an economy that will prosper.”

I genuinely believe this is the case as we are seeing businesses invest in product , invest in people and release the shackles and look to grow again .

We are looking to expand our network with more sites throughout NZ , new services , new improved technology and continue to create a better business to assist our customers.

Once again, thank you for your support and for working hard and smart to get through this so we can make it through too.

Enjoy your festive season and from my family and my management team across all sites – safe travels and see you back in 2025.

Yours faithfully ,

Chris O’Driscoll

Our Station Road branch has had a full refresh, bringing a cleaner, more efficient layout to support our growing 3PL operation. New racking, upgraded workflow zones, and improved dock space now mean faster turnaround times and an even better experience for our clients.
Proud to keep lifting the standard at Store Rite as we continue to grow.

Today is the 5th anniversary of the opening of our Christchurch Branch .
We set out to be an independent logistics option for customers looking to 3pl in Christchurch and what a ride it’s been.
We’ve been in trusted by customers not only in New Zealand but those with a global reach and it’s still just beginning of what we want to achieve.
There are many to thank and you know who you are, but it’s also a good time to reflect and take a minute to remember David our Day one Driver who is no longer with us but never forgotten.
Congrats to Paul and the Team

Our Christchurch Branch changed sites a few weeks back , not moving too far, just next door.
We’ve doubled our storage foot print as well as doubled our container Devan capabilities.
I was very proud when I came down 2 weeks ago with the local team led by Paul managing the shift and all shift related issues locally.
Plans are underway for our next leap of faith.

Understanding the opportunities that are there we have moved into a 3000sqm2 warehouse in the Mount.  Our aim is to devan containers and deliver the LCL freight in and around the BOP as well as containers for Auckland to over come the delays by rail issue. The branch will managed by Warren Myers.

As you may or may or may not be aware the government has increased the Road User Charges for diesel vehicles from the 1st October. This is a direct cost to our business as we run a full diesel fleet to complete collections and deliveries.

Unfortunately, we cannot absorb this cost into the business and have to pass on in some shape or form as all transport companies are doing.

We have decided the easiest way to do this is do add the costs into our Fuel surcharge. From the first of October we will raise the FAF base point by 1% to cover RUC cost impact.

Any questions please feel free to call

Kind regards
